Assistant County Attorney

Minnesota law specifies that an Assistant County Attorney has the same duties as the County Attorney. This position may entail any and/or all of the statutory duties of the County Attorney’s Office as assigned. The primary area of practice initially concentrated on will be misdemeanor and gross misdemeanor criminal prosecution at the city attorney level. The secondary area of practice will concentrate on general criminal prosecution and/or human services/juvenile delinquency.
