In this position you’ll perform complex legal work involving legal research, precedent problems, law enforcement problems, jury and court trials, court and administrative hearings, appeals, and contested cases. The incumbent imparts knowledge, skill, and legal expertise to other attorneys through training and professional guidance. Assignments are usually specialized as to type such as criminal prosecution, tax work, property law issues, or human services agency work.

MQs: Requires admission to the bar in the State of Minnesota or eligibility for license reciprocity and five years experience as a practicing attorney, performing specialized duties relevant to the position. Preference given for previous experience in the area of criminal prosecution. Valid driver’s license and provide a reliable means of transportation required. Salary: $88,069 – $132,104 – DOQ.
