Litigation Attorney

The Office of the Minnesota Attorney General is accepting resumes from attorneys with litigation experience who are interested in public service and representing the government in significant public interest lawsuits and administrative actions.  The Office represents the State of Minnesota and its citizens in complex and meaningful lawsuits that impact the daily lives of the people of Minnesota.

Qualifications:  Our selection process is competitive.  An applicant should have litigation experience, outstanding research and analytical abilities, and good judgment and character.  Applicants must have the skill, commitment and work ethic to represent the public effectively.

If you have Federal Direct Student Loans (or other federal loans that may be consolidated into a Direct Consolidation Loan), your employment with this Office may qualify you to have your student loans forgiven after a period of service and payments.  (For more information, visit www.studentaid.ed.gov/sa/repay-loans/forgiveness-cancellation/public-service.)
