Associate – Public Finance law

Kennedy & Graven, Chartered practices in state and local government law. Our firm represents local governments (cities, counties, school districts, townships, etc…) in numerous areas, including public finance.

We are seeking an associate to practice in the areas of general obligation tax-exempt bonds, conduit tax-exempt bonds for 501(c)(3) entities and affordable housing, and economic development and redevelopment.

Qualifications: A career interest in local government law and public finance. Experience in drafting legal documents and ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience in economic development, transactional finance, tax or general municipal law is helpful but not required. Translatable skills such as commercial loan financing, tax credit financing, real estate, land use, affordable housing, or 501(c)(3) organizations is helpful but not required

Salary and benefit package commensurate with mid-sized Minnesota law firms. Shareholder-track position. Benefits include medical, dental,disability, life, and 401(k) contribution.
