Litigation Attorney

The Office of the Minnesota Attorney General is accepting resumes for an experienced litigation attorney with a strong desire to serve the public.  Our lawyers have a high degree of responsibility over their cases, obtain significant courtroom experience, and get the opportunity to work on important and challenging legal issues in state and federal court.  Our lawyers also handle administrative proceedings to enforce State laws that protect the health and safety of the public.

Applicants must have superior academic credentials, well-developed written and oral communication skills, superior research and analytical abilities, a strong and professional work ethic, and relevant practice experience.  The selection process to become an Assistant Attorney General is competitive.

Service with the Office may qualify applicants to have part of their student loans forgiven under the federal student loan forgiveness program that applies to state government employees. (For more information, visit www.studentaid.ed.gov/sa/repay-loans/forgiveness-cancellation/public-service)
