Executive Director – Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid

Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid (MMLA) seeks an executive director. MMLA has been serving Minnesotans with low incomes for over 100 years and currently serves them in the 20 counties of central Minnesota, including Hennepin, and people with disabilities statewide. The executive director is responsible for the overall operations of MMLA.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Serve as the public face of MMLA; work to increase and diversify MMLA’s financial resources; direct MMLA’s advocacy; promote collaboration with other legal aid providers; develop strategies to close the gaps in available legal services; and working closely with the MMLA Board of Directors and the Fund for Legal Aid.

QUALIFICATIONS: Commitment to MMLA’s mission; min. 10 years of legal practice; management and leadership experience; diverse economic, social, or cultural experiences. See full posting at
