Last month the MSBA held a technology conference in Lakeville, Minnesota. The well-attended event covered a variety of topics, including mobile computing, the ethical duty of technological competence, and the impact of technology on diversity and inclusion in the legal profession. If you weren’t able to attend, watch for the sessions to be added to the MSBA’s On-Demand CLE catalog soon.
The MSBA continues to work with its members to explore new technologies and develop new programs to help members meet these challenges and take advantage of the resulting opportunities. Another new program coming soon is a workshop featuring Barron Henley discussing Law Firm Technology, Software and Tools: Everything You Need To Overhaul Your Firm or Start a New One. This workshop will be held on February 29, 2016. Watch for more information on the MSBA website, www.mnbar.org.
