We’re happy to announce the rollout of a new blog at the MSBA website. Small Firm Soapbox is a forum by and for solo/small firm practitioners, featuring regular and guest contributors who consider the challenges and highlights of practice in Minnesota.
Our regular contributors are from solo and small practices in greater Minnesota, St. Paul and the suburbs: Wade Abed, from a small, Mankato-based firm, practices business, real estate and probate law. Solo practitioner Ann Hagstrom and small firm owner Susan Mundahl practice family law. John Arechigo, who works at a two-person firm in St. Paul, focuses on criminal law.
What advantages does a small firm have in the changing legal market? Should a lawyer starting solo practice take every case that walks in the door? What are the best ways to spend limited tech and marketing dollars? Our authors tackle these questions and more. The MSBA will also include guest articles, and we welcome your contributions. Please contact Sherri Knuth at firstname.lastname@example.org or (612) 278-6330. Check out all of the MSBA’s blogs at www.mnbar.org/blogs
