NEW WAY TO CONNECT

From the Editor:

As many of you likely have already realized, MSBA has upgraded its management systems to include a new website and mechanisms whereby members can more directly manage their membership account and access MSBA services.  Here’s a brief list describing what you can do using the new site and how it can be accomplished.  First it will be necessary to reset your online password:

1. Reset my password. Current MSBA members will need to complete a one-time password reset to utilize the new site. Just click the “Set / Reset Your Password” link at http://msba.mnbar.org/ForgotUID and follow the prompts. Detailed Instructions can be found at http://www.mnbar.org/Password2013/index.asp

2. Pay my dues. Log in at http://msba.mnbar.org/ (see notes above about changing your password) and look for the Renew My Dues icon.

3. Change my address. Address changes are easy at the MSBA’s new members-only site. Log in at http://msba.mnbar.org/ (see notes above about changing your password). After you log in, you’ll see a menu tab labeled “My Account.” At that tab, look for “View/Edit My Profile.”

4. Visit online services. Need online practice tools and services? Log in at http://msba.mnbar.org/ (see notes above about changing your password) and click Online Services. Then follow the links to practicelaw, Fastcase, mndocs, mnfindalawyer, and more.

5. Register for events. See listings of upcoming MSBA CLEs and events at http://msba.mnbar.org/. Click a title and follow the prompts to log in and register online.

6. Manage my account. The MSBA’s new members-only site puts you in control of your account and profile information. Log in at http://msba.mnbar.org/ (see notes above about changing your password). After you log in, you’ll see a menu tab labeled “My Account.” Click My Account to learn more.

A “help desk” is available at MSBA for those who encounter difficulty or need further information to avail themselves of the new system.  We look forward to serving you!
